"A fertile mind in overdrive", Nick Troop has released two solo CatDesigners albums (http://www.catdesigners.co.uk).
Nick has a psychological, impressionistic and English-as-the-Kinks approach to songwriting. The only rule is that it has to be stimulating.
Nick is currently recording his third album, "Zuta Minuta", with the musicians that play with him live (as well as a few other friends). Literally, "Zuta Minuta" means "yellow minute" but it's a Serbian phrase meaning "moment of madness" (Nick's partner is a Bosnian Serb which is where he got the phrase).
He's already been trying out some of the songs for it in his solo acoustic gigs in London. You can check out these tracks from the "Nick Troop live at The Sound Cafe Bar (18/10/2005)" list on the CatDesigners downloads page.
