Charms understands the preciousness of life. It was in August of 2003, when his best friend passed away in a vital car crash at the age of 17 that a remarkable thing happened: using his best friends death as an inspiration, he started to really take music seriously and take his skill to another level.

Explain that to a 22 year- old upcoming rapper from the streets of Wilmington, Delaware. People dont stress that Will Smith came out of Philly; that Nelly came out of St. Louis and Master P New Orleans. These are all major cities, but they werent known for rearing rap and hip-hops newest talents until those individuals stepped up to the mic and surpassed expectations. Therefore, Dolla$ coming from Wilmington should not matter.
Charms uses an old school format. Once he had mastered the basics of old school rap, he started putting his own twist and flavor to it, inventing a style of his own. Charms is a regular person that came from the streets, been through the struggle and suffered the pain. So why not rap about his life?
