KAMMAFLAWGE RECORDS
When you think of the word Camouflage you think of an army of soldiers that can’t be seen. We like to think of ourselves as a small army that also can’t be seen. We can’t be seen because of the music that we create. Here at Kammaflawge Records perfection is often glazed and versatility is always stressed to the maximum. “They can’t see us” yes the opposition; staying 20 steps ahead is always best and keeping a clear focused mind promotes success not failure. Over 12 years of doubt and record label turn downs would make you want to throw in the towel but when you think of the future and achieving your goals, doing what you always dreamed of keeps pushing you despite the odds against you. Over 12 years; time goes by fast but were here now to slow it down.
My partners (Lifestile) (Platinum P) and I (Chase Fire) met up in high school and we clicked form the start on a musical level. They seen the talent in me, and at the time probably was the only people who felt that way. L.S would occasionally rap but his main focus was making sure I brought us to were we needed to be. Platinum P was the ears for eveything and Production was his territory.
Music was a grind every single day for us we created promotional music and demos that we sent to labels which were ether turned down or returned unopened.
With this negativity you begin to think if you even had talent from the beginning. This was the year 1996 and 97,98 blew by. The year 2000 came no deal no recognition nothing but crushed dreams and doubt. In the middle of 2000 we decided to just quit, hey I couldn’t do it times were getting harder and chasing that dream seemed to be fading away. We were about to graduate from high school in a couple months and decisions of going to college or working boring jobs started to surface. We decided to go to college music was dropped and we just fell back until we started to pay attention to some of the talent that the industry was signing and it was like a joke.
Many artists that I knew I was better than made it big and I was stuck on an alternative route. The K-TEAM got together and we decided to make another run for it “fuck it’ what did we have to lose we were still young and we still had time. And now were only 25 and 24 and much mature on a physical, mental and lyrical level searching for that label to take that big chance at Kammaflawge Records. Experience, versatility and perseverance are a must and you can expect nothing less from Kammaflawge Records A.K.A. THE K-TEAM.
Presently our grind is stronger with a 3 man army ready to face the industry, CHASE FIRE, LIFESTILE, And Producer/Hit creator Platinum P the time is now.........
