Chenlembek makes Lo-Fi, alternative music. The work of one man, this atmospheric and simplistic music started out after some experimentation with layering guitars with different and unusal fx proved to be interesting. As time progressed new sounds and fx's were used with other instruments to create even more of an ambient feel to the song/instrumentals.
The music is recorded on a hissy old 8 track(only 6 and a half tracks work though!). This hissing the tape and heavily made up guitars, bass, keyboards and sometimes percussion sound little like their conventional selves and in this the emotional and atmospheric music of Chenlembek is created. Violin bows, wah wah pedal drums and the odd out of tune vocal all help to create the a more original sound. It is hoped that chenlembek may release a EP shortly and may even do some live shows around the end of 2005 or start of 2006 to coincide with the EP.
