It all started in a dark, smokey room in North London. I had prepared two lovely ballads to play for the audience that night, but after having heard an hour's worth of boring, self-obsessed pity songs, I decided to go for something a little different.....
Live dates followed and the Chris Neale Project was underway. Soon a live session was recorded in Camden and went on sale online, with the Independant Record Label, Solarise Records.
A move to Southampton Uni hasn't got in the way. Already I am starting to make a name for myself on the, admittedly smaller, scene down south, with numerous people commenting on the unique element of my songs.
As for the future, who knows. If I keep plugging away, I know that eventually somebody will give me the chance to make a real impact on the national scene.
