More about Chris....
Having performed more than 100 shows nationwide in 2005, Chris is a member of the CMA, NARAS (the Grammy Foundation), and ASCAP. He's been an exhibitor at the CMA Music Festival (formerly Fan Fair) for the last three years, and he performs regularly with his band from Tennessee, The Rebel Hearts.
Chris also appears weekly at the Cowboy's Dancehall and Saloon in Arlington, TX (www.cowboysdancehall.com) where he fronts the house band, Runnin' Behind.
Chris is a 6'4" baritone whose honeyed sound is definitely traditional country, but Chris has the ability to sing any style of music. He performed in 2003 at the official Grammy party in New York as the only bass in the 6 member Grammy Jazz Choir. He was also one of only 2 United States Presidential Scholars in the Arts awarded by President Bush's Council on Higher Education in Washington, D.C. in 2003. As part of the honor, Chris performed at Kennedy Center.
However, country music is where his heart is. He's a singer/songwriter who enjoys playing venues from 2 to 20,000. His most treasured performance was where else? The stage of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN when he was 15. |
