My name is Christian Connett. I am a Film Score Composer currently seeking exposure (reciprocal links, work for hire, etc.) for independent film, television, radio, and internet productions.
I have been a professional musician for the last 15 years (actually playing since age 9) and my repertoire includes live, studio, and session work in many genres. My musical tastes/experience have included: Classical, Jazz, Rock/Metal, Industrial, Electronica, Progressive, Acoustic, Dance, and Ethnic.
I am listed in the Iowa Film Office Production Guide (under Music - Composition & Scoring), ProductionHUB directory, as well as countless others. I have exclusively composed film scores, titles/themes, sound design, and sequences for Iowa-based 5490 Studios and a hand-full of others. I have composed radio/internet commercials, CD-ROM beds, and more.
I have worked on-set and behind the scenes of film shorts and features creating foley/sound effects/sound design utilizing organic and natural sounds, as well as original compositions and score cues. Mixes have included PCM Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound.
I also maintain a database of thousands of royalty-free sounds, loops, effects, etc., as well as local musicians to produce all types of music for any project.
