You know this thing about calling a female a "slut" like it is a bad thing is bogus. In fact, Christina actually has a song about just that very topic!!
That is a double standard between men and women. A man who is sexually experience and dresses sexy is seen as a good lover who looks sexy. A women who is sexually experienced and dresses sexy is call a "slut". Go figure.
Actually to me a "slut" is a good thing by that definition. It is a woman who knows herself well and is confident in her body and mind. U know I've sent pm's to Honey-J about this and she said that there's a difference in dating a lot and actually being a slut. Sluts go around sleeping with every guy not caring or thinking about their actions or that they could actually hurt someone's feelings. But girls that date a lot go out with different men, maybe sleep with them, then realize that they aren't right for each other.

To overcome this "slut" stigma, or double standard, many modern feminists are actually PROMOTING the use of the word "slut" to destipmatize it. Likewise, believe it or not, in the most modern and assertive women's rights organizations a true compliment is to be called a "cunt"!!!

Kwelis_Girl you are so right. people use the term "slut" and "ho" to insult women, but the true insult is that women ACCEPT it as an insult. They feel like it is bad to be know as sexually active so when someone calls them "slut" they are insulted because the person has called them sexually active.
If they are ashamed about being sexually active then "slut" should shame them. And they should quit being sexually active. And quit wearning shoes. And stay pregnant and in the kitchen.
If they are NOT ashamed about being sexually active then when they are called a "slut" they should respond with a retort like "hey, thanks for noticing" or "You wish" or something like that that shows the person trying to insult them that they are NOT going to be put down for their sexual activity.
And believe it or not, years ago the term PIMP was a grave insult to a man. But men realized that a real pimp controlled women, had money, lived glamorous lives and soon thought of it as a compliment.

I like to listen to a variety: rap, hiphop, R&B, some pop like Celine Dion, and relaxing music that I can't really put into a category like Enya and Enigma-u know the pure moods stuff.
