Biography

Original Easy listening music written and performed by Cliff Odenkirk - Yes, one person is creating all of the instrument sounds you hear on the songs and the albums. All electronic easy listening jazz and new age music.

Cliff is a pianist / composer living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Born in north central Ohio, he started playing piano at an early age and has since performed in 48 of the 50 US states and in multiple foreign countries. Cliff's easy listening and new age piano works can be heard on European radio, around the internet and at his website CliffOdenkirk.com.

Cliff's CD's and music are distributed worldwide with online distribution through CDBaby.com,and many popular digital distribution networks such as iTunes, Rhapsody and this site.

Most of the songs on this website are all electronically produced, with instrumental parts composed on a Kurzweil midi keyboard, Band in a Box or Jammer Pro software and mixed on Cakewalk Pro software. Playback is through multiple Yamaha XG and Roland GS modules.

Friday, March 24th, 2006 Fall colors The fall colors in the UP are fabulous right now, it inspired me to start another project "Northern Moods" after viewing a sunrise in the mist the other morning. The song "Sunrise through the Mist " came from an early morning drive near Marquette Michigan eastbound along a misty highway as the sun rose in a brilliant display of intensity through the mist. Friday, November 18th, 2005 First Snowfall We had a foot of snow the other evening. The trees were weighted down with the accumulation but the world was serene walking down an old two track trail near the house.
