| The idea for Confined to Solitude came after singer Casey Sershon, lost someone very close to him. Rather than crying, tears were shed as words on paper. These words were eventually put to piano. Finding that piano and vocals alone did not give off the emotions and feeling he wanted the search was on for musicians. Finally a four piece band ranging with influences from Korn, Finch, Slipknot, Tool, to Madonna, Sting and Elton John. Together they combine a sound that is both melodic and at times dark, with high energy punk pop. Often sneeking up on the listener with an explosion of sound that only enhances the singers whispery voice that grows into an emotional scream.
After three months of forming the band had already gotten reviews in local magazines, picked up sponsors, won the free4allevents.com "Battle of the Fans" contest, and opend on the SOMA, San Diego Main Stage for H20 and Off by One.
Look for this band. They have a hunger to reach as many fans as they can. And with the honest and personal songs they have. Everyone will be able to relate to them on some level. |
