Crazeski (also know as Crae) has had a 20yrs plus relationship with Hip Hop. Being one of the very first break dancers in his home town Leicester he belonged to the SWC (Sky Walker Crew) later to be known as Sound Wave Covenant. He experienced every aspect of the Hip Hop culture ranging from break dancing, body poppin, graffiti DJ-ing, beatboxing and rappin. At an early age he branched into event management (i.e. organising Hip Hop functions). He played on local pirate radio station Fresh FM where he had a large underground local following.
He was the first Hip Hop artist in Leicester to put out a studio recorded track as early as 1989. It was a hobby for him but due to this recording he when on in 1993/4 to appear on a record produced by future top ten artist Punjabi MC. He has also produced and appeared on a track featuring Alexander O’neal. Not to mention going on a nationwide tour with him as a support.
More recently he has been instrumental in procuring the skills of DMX on Mark Morrison’s (due to be released single) Innocent Man as well as being the chief negotiator on the finalizing of Blackstabbers another track on Mr Morrison’s album. He is currently working with Punjabi MC, musicians from Hungary and producing tracks for Dutch and French artists. Also he has furthered his early skills of event management by bringing USA artist to UK clubs. Artists include Akon and ATL.
He is now a part of The Donz a UK/USA based group that combine UK and Stateside vocals and sounds with productions by members of the Donz as well as the legendary Punjabi MC with his unique eastern beat flavours.
Crazeski like other group members is working on a solo album so he can share his own personal experiences with the music world via words, beats and sounds. He is currently finishing off his album and two videos that will highlight different facets of his life past and pesent! |
