Cross Town on their Live Shows: "We have enjoyed performing on stage together for many years now and we ALWAYS have a blast playing together and getting the audience involved! Our motto on stage is to "play everything by ear"! That way every performance is just a bit different and you never know what to expect! Free reign to bring out some spontaneous creativity fueled by the audiences energy adds the element of danger, walking the edge that pushes all of us as performers to really give the audience a show they'll remember!"
The NEW national release date for the debut of "Davey Pattison & Cross Town" full length CD "POINT OF VIEW" is Summer of 2009.

DAVEY PATTISON & CROSS TOWN
DEBUT RELEASE "POINT OF VIEW"
Los Angeles, CA - October 1, 2008
DAVEY PATTISON & CROSS TOWN will release nationally a full-length CD titled "Point Of View", on Alethea Records early 2009. The album was written, arranged and co-produced by Davey Pattison and David Van Kleeck, recorded at Goldfinger Studio in San Francisco, CA, by Mark Robertson and Jasongs Recording Studio in Glendale, AZ, by David Van Kleeck. The passionate, soulful vocals of Davey Pattison (GAMMA, Robin Trower) are backed by the powerful guitar/keyboard based compositions of David Van Kleeck, John Perry and Bob Herder. Highlighted by Davey's inspired vocals and the Blues/Rock guitar soloing of David Van Kleeck, "Point Of View" brings the Blues Rock genre into perfect harmony with their Spiritually based lyrics. CROSS TOWN released an early version of the CD locally in the Southwest U.S. and over the Internet. The singles from the album, "To Die For Me", "Point Of View" and "Cosmos", have consistently charted high and received high praise from around the globe, so the labels decision to re-record and release nationally was an easy one.
The album also includes the piano based blues tune "Silvers Song", a tribute to David Van Kleeck's Dad. It was recorded "live" during a special recording session in memory of 'Silvers' passing and is a direct nod to the standard "piano bar blues" of old, but with a decidedly edgy and searing Blues Rock guitar taking the solo spot that guarantees to get your blood pumping! The cover tracks include Robin Trower's "Bridge Of Sighs", "In This Place" and "Somebody Calling". There will be other covers from Robin Trower's more recent releases on V-12 Records on the follow up album tentatively titled "The Light". Cross Town's sound can best be described as a dynamic mix of Classic and Blues Rock with song lyrics about life experiences presented in a Spiritual light. CROSS TOWN's songs are straight forward and thought provoking, their performances on stage are passionately powerful, CROSS TOWN pours their heart and soul into every performance!"
Cross Town Radio Reviews:
Len Amsterdam Radio Review:
"An exciting ride throughout, very catchy material sure to be a big hit. One of the best new acts we have heard in a long time. Cross Town had us hooked from start to finish - a total powerhouse! A killer rhythm section, engaging intellectual offerings. This band is the total package! Cross Town really has something happening here! Cross Town's sound is as big as the Grand Canyon, a complete breath of fresh air." --Gil Powers, Len Amsterdam Radio...
103.9 ROAR Radio Review:
"If I could find good, inspired songs like this every day, I could put a CD on the station deck and go down to the pub for an hour and nobody would complain about missing my dumb quips between tracks. Good lyrics, good music and more important from my point of view, real fine listening." --Graham Henderson, 103.9 ROAR Radio, Esperance, West Australia
