| John started playing guitar when he was about 10. He was influenced by several guitarists including Vai, Satch, and of course Steve Morris. He hooked up with our former wild drummer Chad who could read Metallica drum tabs while he played. John heard about this insane bass player named Ken who was pumping out Stuu Hamm licks for fun while he was in high school jazz band. The three of them got together and played a high school variety show where they ripped thru the likes of Satch Boogie and Mr. Scary. Soon they where recording originals on an old 8 track reel-reel and just trying to get out of the basement when John bumped into Tim while getting beer one night. A couple of practices later they all where out in the bars trying to make something happen. It was tough without a vocalist so auditions were held. In stepped Aaron. With a full line up they again decided to try and hit the scene when normal band tragedy struck and Chad got a job offer on the west coast. A drummer was needed, one that would be able to play the high demanding music the band was attempting. Bad ass Bill was the answer. A couple of local gigs to break in the newest member was all it took. Soon we where opening for REO Speed wagon (interesting show) and the brutal Rock Festival in Cadott. 4 grueling days of opening for Ted Nuggent, Dio, Cinderella, and Journey on various stages. Talk about an Alcoholic Nightmare (Ken introduced me to Red Bull and Vodka WOW). Ken finished his schooling and had to move to Indiana so along came Troy. Our first show with Troy will be in Dec. Until then we'll continue recording and practicing.
