He now uses his past tribulations and what he sees around him as fuel to feed his musical talent. He believes that music can be influential and dangerous to the youth if used in the wrong manner, so what is said has to be real and also inspiring so that someone might learn from his music and use it in a positive manner. Demetrius Williams, professionally known as Dangerous, was born in Brooklyn, NY. He has been writing poetry and hip-hop lyrics for 13 years. Dangerous debuted on the movie soundtrack, The Bait, starring actor Jamie Foxx. He also lent his talents to the title track, "Took The Bait", a collaboration with the legendary rap icon Scarface. Dangerous has worked and performed with the likes of Kanye West, Jadakiss, Doug E. Fresh, Pete Rock, Scarface, Nokio (Dru Hill), Case, Ruff Ryders, Gangsta, Chingy, Carl Thomas, and Eve, just to name a few. His stage presence is amazing and no one has a problem working with him again on future endeavors. Dangerous has sold over 355, 000 CDs with 22 tracks on each. He has also completed a documentary on hip-hop and rap from the underground point of view, which will air on Sky TV and the European network GIMY. Dangerous has a new single out with Pete Rock, "Cook", and Kanye West, "Get Your Lie Straight." His songs are listed on Nielson BDS. With the appeal and skill that Dangerous has, we are definitely going to see more of this up-and-coming star.
