Comment Title: New artist seeking friends
Hi.
I'm new to this community.
So I'm all about Ambient moody soundscapes, dreamy melodies, with heavy electronica backbeats and pulsing synth bass. Romantic twisted lyrics sang by Boy / Girl Harmony, Soft girly vocals, Heavy, noisy guitar, industrial, effects, noise, feedback,etc.
Some of these bands include: Concrete Blonde, Cocteau Twins, The Bravery, Fiest, The Cure, Slowdive, Sigur Ros, Garbage, Kill Hannah, The Smiths, Curve, Bjork, Depeche Mode, New Order, Enigma, My Bloody Valentine, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Frou Frou, The Pixies, Portishead, Smashing pumpkins, Filter, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Silversun Pickups, Veruca Salt, The Cranes, Hooverphonic, etc.
What makes great songs also include orchestral strings,(cello, Violins), synth pads, and ambient wall of lush instrumentation that blend with the unusual “Post-Punk” sound of guitars.
We are doing something a bit different and have received a ton of praise from new fans, and myspace friends from around the globe. It's great to be different and have something new to offer... We sound like no other bands out right now.
If anyone else has any artists, or bands that fall into this realm, I would be happy to hear.. ..
