This is DarkPoet. I'm a journalist, poet, and spoken word artist. I was born in London, raised in Philly, and now live in the Atlanta area. I've been writing almost all my life and performing for about 5 years.
I'm all about mental elevation, and my sound can best be described as poetry infused with the DNA of hip-hop. If you have trouble sifting through metaphors and similes, then you may have a hard time deciphering my message. All the music you hear was crafted and played by me, and Grand Heat mixed and mastered it.
