| David Fanning has been wowing audiences most of his life. At the age of two he began performing with his parents who were part of a 50’s & 60’s a cappella group, The Lifters, and most of his childhood was spent touring with them on weekends. They performed across the Southern United States where he would belt out Elvis and Bread tunes to delighted crowds. He picked up the guitar at age 9 when his Dad taught him the basic chords. At 13 he formed his first band. Kessid, released a CD entitled “Peace of Mind” and performed at schools, camps, & festivals throughout the area. When he turned 16 he began concentrating on writing and then formed a new band, “PointZeroOne.” They toured extensively until he moved to LA, where he did some modeling and began working on a solo career. In January of 2007, he moved to Nashville and met up with the 3 guys who would become his producers. Tully Kennedy, Kurt Allison and Rich Redmond are well known in Nashville circles as great session players as well as members of Jason Aldean’s band. Through them he met Tina Crawford, a Promotion/A&R exec at country label BBR, who found the songs that they then took into the studio in December. The result is a 6 song EP containing the song “Rearrange the Rain,” which is destined to be a radio hit. For more information and/or a press kit please contact Tina Crawford |
