Days Like These were friends for a long time before they were a band. The center of early Days Like These was Vineland High School in Vineland, New Jersey. These "Days" are about 23 years old.
The first Days Like These show was four years ago in front of some completely satisfied locals; there was no looking back after that. DLT recorded some demo songs and signed to Lobster Records soon after. On a personal level, by band vote, Days Like These pulls for skate & surf, greyhounds, karate, reptiles and basketball. On a musical level, by band consent, their sound evolved from the same strength that drives their favorite bands. Days Like These says, “Let the music speak for itself”. They strive to bring a message of truth, life experience providing the content, created with a near telepathic process of songwriting.
DLT’s debut album on Lobster Records, “Charity Burns Green,” was released in spring 2004. They toured the US and then played the Warped Tour in summer 2004, finishing the year with a series of large regional shows. 2005 saw heavy touring leading up to a summer spent in Santa Barbara recording their newest album "Inventure," available this fall. Days Like These invite you to see their pulse accelerating live show as they tour the States – north, south, east and west – looking for you. |
