One of the greatest punk rock bands of the 80s and 90s, The Dead Milkmen will forever be remembered in the anals of music history. Rodney Anonymous (Vocals), Joe Jack Talcum (Guitar and Vocals), Dean Clean (Drums), and the late Dave Blood (Bass) met at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1983. By 1984, they had already become a lcal sucess. Over the next 10 years, The Milkmen released many albums (such as: Big Lizard In My Backyard in 1985, Bucky Fellini in 1987, Beelzebubba in 1988, Metaphysical Graffiti in 1990, and Stoney\'s Extra Stout PIG in 1995) which produced quite a few hit singles including a few that had videos on MTV (i.e. Punk Rock Girl). The group disbanded in 1995. Most of the members stayed with music except for Dave who gave up the bass due to pain in his hands. In 1997, Death Rides A Pale Cow (The Ultimate Collection) was released containing many of their greatest songs. While their CDs are now a bit hard to find, its deffinately worth the trouble to hear some of the best songs ever recorded by one of the best bands ever to play the stage.
