In the beginning there was a elite caliber of Metal guitarist who caught my attention as how one could play the instrument with such tenacity and precision that I was down right floored. And also force me to think of what style I would choose to venture into in most cases metal is the lesser traveled path maybe because to really be proficient it requires love of music and the instrument. And Metal I love...I am always searching for ways to improve my own personal style it has been a challenge and growth as a musician and guitarist. I do embrace different genres of music especially if it provoke my senses. I figure when someone take the task of creating any body of work you should at least give it a chance to find if there is something that might grab you and possibly open doors in the mind painting the canvas of imagination...And that never ending question "what if". While looking for others who would consider writing and performing originals I started to compose songs from different attributes of the metal genre...The importances of melodic, aggressive, and balance were things that came to mind...What was to follow happen to be the actual material, I think as artist we are usually toughest critic of self but that alright! I was fortunate enough not to suffer any writers block for no rememberances of time although these are some of the songs. I recently collaborated on the song "All Along" with a Poet Sergine, whom does the spoken words and my vocals. I am busy writitng more songs.
