| "My name is Jason Gazda and I'm a didgeridoo maker/player with over 12 years of constant experience performing and recording. I'm releasing my first self-produced CD using GarageBand.
Im playing the bulk of the didgeridoo sounds you will hear on this CD. My friend Jay Atwood played some of the other parts. Jay and I met when he showed interest in didgeridoo at a festival we were both attending. This project was a long time in coming, having recorded the tracks back in 2001, live at Channing Memorial Chapel in Newport R.I. and at Jay Atwood's home studio just down the road.
A of couple years later, Jay invited me out to do some recording. I jumped at the chance and we laid down some nice grooves, However within a year or so Jay and I were both distracted by other events and the recorded project went by the wayside. I picked it up about 4 years later and mixed the live tracks down into a nearly finished product with additional and final mastering by Al Ligamari. My hope is that this music takes you deep within your mind and leaves you a little more nourished creatively speaking. |
