Dimmu Borgir is a Black metal, Gothic-metal band hailing mainly from Norway. They formed in 1993, and has 14 albums total. Their ex-band members are Tjodalv, Astennu, Brynjard Tristan, Nagash, and Stian Aarstad. They are mainly musicaly inspired by 80s Black metal bands. Dimmu Borgir started out by releasing a 7" EP. This was entitled "Inn I Evighetens Morke" ("Into the Eternity of Darkness") on Necromantic Gallery Productions in 1994. Within the few weeks of selling, Dimmu Borgir became sucessful. The EP sold out later in those few weeks. They are all mainly from around Oslo in Norway. Nick is the only current member known to be from Sheffield,England. They released a video for the song "Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse" in 2004. Here is their released albums so far.
