Dir en grey (Kyo, Kaoru, Shinya, Toshiya, Die) made a strong impact when they hit the scene in 1997. Since their debut they have made 7 albums and roughly 17 singles each a progression of their unique style. Even though they have faced hardships with fans about \'changing their image\', the band presses on and delivers the bittersweet romance of their music with the release of \'Withering to Death\'.
