Biography

DISTURBED a group dedicated to following the tradition of what "true" heavy-metal once was as the release the Sickness into the world. This group is formed together by David Draiman(Lead Vocals) Dan Donegan(Guitar) Mike Wengren(Drummer)Fuzz(Bass Guitar).

Dan, Mike, and Fuzz played together in for a brief time before David Draiman was invited to sing lead vocals for the group in 1997. The band eagerly made a name for themselves on the Southside of their hometown, before their demo was placed in the hands of GIANT RECORDS. This was only the beginning, not long after the release of their debut album,"THE SICKNESS" which was released on March 7, 2000 (only four day's before lead singer, David Draiman birthday).

The band began to tour and join up with the Ozzfest in 2001. This gave them the opportunity to show how much talent that had, and also aquire more fans. After this tour the band took a brief break which only lasted about a month, before the were back in the studio. They now were making arragements for their second full-length album,"BELIEVE". This album was completed in only two months and was release on October 15, 2002.

I truly hold a lot of respect for this group, because I feel that they are trying to preserve what little bit of tradition we have left when it come's to TRUE "HEAVY-METAL". DISTURBED has my 100% support, and continue to provide music that is fresh, new, and creative.

have u seen disturbed in concert? i saw disturbed about a month ago and they kicked ass. they had so much energy. the crowd was going crazy. i loved their performance of down with the sickness. im sure if you've seen them in concert u'll say the same thing.	Fruitzie_Panzie_Freak

I loved that concert in Duluth MN! Not only did they play well, but they showed that they give a shit about the fans a lot more. Most of the cities they played in were quite small. All of the songs they played were excellent, except for the fact that they didn't play my favorite song "Pain Redefined". Oh well, that's more of an underrated gem. But what was really funny was when one of my friends that went with me(Rap_Blows_Ass) got the shit kicked out of him at the mosh pit. He should've given me his glasses before he went into the pit...	aces_high
