Originally formed in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1996, the group developed a solid local following before relocating to Richmond in 2000. Divine has constantly been “on the grind”, making over 10 albums in 10 years (five tapes, five CDs). Over the past five years we’ve been performing live throughout the east coast (including The Knitting Factory in New York City), steadily increasing our fanbase. Opening for acts such as Heltah Skeltah (Boot Camp Click), Killah Priest (Wu-tang Family), 2 Live Crew, Q-Unique (The Arsonists), Sabac-Red (Non Phixion), R.A. the Rugged Man, and Wordsworth, Divine has gained respect from every artist we’ve played with.
