Don Voss has enough energy to grab the crowd’s attention; by igniting the heat of his soulful southern voice the power and passion of his witty performance possesses him to unleash a unique style like no other, “He brings something different, something unheard of”. He creates serious songs about ordinary things: life, love, family, and struggles causing phrases to turn, emotions to connect, and melodies to sparkle. You can feel his heart and strive through his music even without making his acquaintance.
He started freestyling at the age of 13, being that his family moved quite often gave him the opportunity to experience different styles from local artist including Swisha House and Screwed up Click members. He was influenced by unique musical talented people like Al Green, Tupac
Biggie, Marvin Gaye and Johnny Taylor ,people that released soul into their music so being that music was already a gift and major dedication to his older brother, also having support of friends and family, ignited the foundation of the group TPC formerly known as The Product Commission. From practicing on karaoke’s to writing his own lyrics, and producing from his home based studio, Voss became more sincere towards the music and soon begun showcasing his talents in several clubs throughout Texas, from small shacks to upscale clubs doing mixtapes with anyone who was willing to support underground artist’s, He has showcased among artist such as Chamillionaire and Paul Wall, Devin the Dude, and other local artist in many talent shows plus collaborated with: Major Artist Billy Cook of BMG, Pop Of Southern Empire/Rap-a-lot Records, Ms Re’ of Boss Baby ENT, and C-O of Prison Youth Productions. He has dreams of releasing an Album produced in a major studio and one day hopes to receive a gold plaque in return. Voss’s goal is to succeed in the industry and to bring something new and interesting to entertainment.
