The Downfalls are a San Francisco indie-rock trio that wraps the sweat-dripping riffage of post-punk powerpop around a creamy melodic center, all glazed over with a thick swarm-of-angry-bees-in-your-face fuzz bass and tom-tom fury. Described as somewhere between "Weezer getting its ass kicked on the playground" and "the-not-so-Dandy Warhols," the band has been honored as a Featured Artist on MP3.com (where we've been downloaded over 9,000 times) and has brought their high-energy "RAWK" show to stages throughout the Bay Area, including recent performances at the Bottom of the Hill, 12 Galaxies, the Hotel Utah and many others.
