| Dr Jekill is a three piece Rock-a-Jazz Band formed in 1997 in Miami Florida By singer-songwriter Evelio. The trio then moved to the West Coast and made Los Angeles California its new home. The line-up of the band consists of Evelio (Guitar/Vocals) Abraham Juarez (Percussion) Ken Ackerman (Upright). Every member of Dr Jekill enjoys a solid background in different styles ranging from Classic to Metal and a solid musical education. Dr Jekill has been featured in many national events including “The Three Arts Event” at the 24th street Theater in Los Angeles, CA; sponsored by RockEngine Productions Group and benefit drives as in the case of a series of concerts to benefit the “Jimmy Ryce Foundation” advocates for the cause of missing children. The band is now preparing for their next international tour with tentative start date of April 2006. Their debut single “Mother’s Love” was a huge success and sold in unbelievable quantities. Their new album “Faking My death” will be released on april of 2006 and will feature about 10 tracks. The triple-single “Swing your head” contains three of the tracks from “Faking my Death”.
