Since forming in 2003, Byron Bay based
DUBSHACK have been delivering their hypnotic blend of Psychedelic Soul, Ska & Rootsy Dub Reggae ,
Musically influenced by classic Jamaican Dub, & English Ska,
The Dubshack sound incorporates the use of an onstage audio engineer into the mix,
FX, delays, & echo drenched vocals, paired with the pulsating energy of guitars, drums & bass.
Their energetic live shows, & a reputation for percussive, heavy bass driven melodies has broadened their appeal to a wider audience, reaching those not so familiar with a reggae groove.
Dubshack have supported The Black Seeds (NZ), Cornerstone Roots (NZ)
Wild Marmalade, Red Eyes, Ganga Giri , Medicine Drum (USA), Blue King Brown ,
Morph ,PuSS, Combat Wombat, One for One, Yabbaz (FNQ) , Earth Reggae ,
Heavyweight Champion, Dubdoubt, LionI ,Triple 7, Groove Foundation
and are one of the house bands at the Byron Bay Reggae Club.
