I am currently working with Duane "Da Rock" Ramos, out of LA. I recorded "Take Two" at his studio in LA, along with a few other songs that I have not posted. He is a producer with alot of experience in the music business, working with everyone from Jay-Z to Common. He is currently shopping my music around to a few labels. As for what I think my music is about...I try to make my music as a direct reflection of myself, things I've experienced or just things I relate to. I try to make my music accessible to everyone, regardless of their tastes for music. I don't consider myself to be like alot of emcees or rappers, and I don't try to model myself after anyone. I am a huge fan of hip-hop, but I think alot of what is out there now is GARBAGE. There still are alot of emcees that I respect, however, including Pharaohe Monch, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Nas, The Roots, Wordsworth, Jean Grae...No matter where Hip Hop takes me, I promise I will never sell out....even if it seems to be more accessible to the mainstream, I will still have my stamp on it and not sacrifice my style or content of lyrics.
