Hailing from Detroit, Exit the Ordinary is the invention of Tim West (lead vocals, guitars), Justin Niemi (bass, bgvs) and Kyle Bondy (drums). For the past 3 years steady touring, writing, and recording has brought them to the outskirts of the mainstream with a blue collar work ethic. The release of the groups EP, The Place You Are, served to strengthen their identity as a band. The EP has been picked up for use by MTV as well as it’s title track “The Place You Are” getting picked by New Line Cinema for the movie "The Butterfly Effect 2". Keenly aware of the opportunity they have to help connect people with purpose, their music is the method of making peace between the head and heart with a haunting sweetness of hope.
