Kam Falk has been a bassist/keyboardist and composer on the South Florida scene since the late 1980's. He's played for numerous artists as a sideman on both bass and keys. With the 2002 release of his debut enhanced cd entitled, NATIVE TONGUE, Kam struck out on his own as an artist and composer. He was influenced and inspired by jazz and fusion groups like Weather Report, Return to Forever, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Those influences are evident throughout the music of NATIVE TONGUE. Kam's guests include many great players such as Elliott Randall, best known for his tasty guitar tracks on Steely Dan's "Reelin' in the Years." Others include Stevie Wonder's long time drummer, Gerry Brown, keyboardist Delmar Brown
(Sting, Miles Davis), Guitarist Daryll Dobson and many more. |
