Fatalis is an American power metal band with old school influences. Their lyrics cover everything from existentialism, historical references, to epic fantasy and mythology.
Fatalis began with Rafael Gelpi and Lance Zielinski. Recently branched away from a previous project, they began seeking like-minded individuals who desired to make excellent music with meaninful lyrical content. During various changes in line-up, Fatalis began defining its initial style until finally it began to evolve and grow, adopting each new players' influences and styles. The final result has been music with heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and pounding rhythms that hearken back to the roots of heavy metal. Influences from the great bands like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, began to blend with the progressive concepts defined within the band. The end result is the music of Fatalis. And the music so far has drawn on the hearts and imaginations of the listeners.
Fatalis plans to continue focusing on a power metal style, blending traditional heavy metal with progressive rhythms and heavy riffs that will make the band stand out among its peers. The end result should be a very unique and enthralling sound that will leave you very eager to hear more. |
