In May of 2004, five guys came together with the same passion to make music and play it for the most amazing of people. For the next year they spent their days writing and playing songs that, for the time being, they were content with.
An evolving sound, however, quickly replaced old songs as the band played shows and slowly expanded their number of listeners. In the time it took to write newer material, the band realized that the passion was no longer there for their current bassist at that point. In a mutual agreement, he left the band and Fire in the Eyes soon brought a new member into the family. With their new bassist, Kyle Salaga, they were officially complete and ready to move forward.
When all is said and done, Fire In The Eyes of the City is nothing more and nothing less than five passionate kids playing music that they love and working hard at perfecting it, while sharing it with as many people as they can in the process. |
