Frank Porter (Lead Guitar), Greg Guiteras (Bass) and Tom Stanley (Drums) are a newly formed rock trio. All three band members have years of hard-knock professional band experience. The bands songwriter, Frank Porter, writes kick-ass blues-rock tunes and power ballads. Reviewers on GarageBand.com refer to Frank's music as, "Very tasty and a bit funky in my book, "Very tight, very rocking-I love it," "Scorching... hot guitar playing, great groove, hot band," and "It's like riffing tinnitus."
This band has only recently started gigging at places like Emerald City (Philadelphia, PA) with the Independent Music Conference Party, The Daily Grind (Hatboro, PA) with the Just Plain Folks East Coast Tour and at Phil Stahl's Open Mic Night at Hary's Cafe (Allentown, PA).
The band gets audiences attention with "Rock N' Roll is Now My Life," Hot Red Lipstick Kisses," and "Hobo Blues." Frank Porter Rocks--his guitar playing is reminiscent of the guitar gods of the 70's, Greg Guiteras' bass playing is rock solid and in the pocket, and Powerhouse drummer Tom Stanley ties the band together with his high energy, hard hitting drumming. These guys are into it, know what they're doing and are TIGHT!!
The Frank Porter Band is working on a professionally produced CD and continues to add dates to their calendar.
