The Frauds - the originals and the best - formed in darkest West Lothian in rain-lashed, chilly Scotland. Out of the remnants of John Dog & The Dead Eskimos, a Butlins Redcoat and the keeper of The Fountain Of Youth, their post-punk-glam-disco-tcheucter-futurism sound took the garages and bus shelters of the country by storm. Little did they know how much their unique sound would influence Thatcher's Britain throughout the 1980's. Now older and fatter they still peddle their Fraudulent Rock to anyone daft enough to be taken in.

"In 1979, a crack group of post-punk chancers were sent to Great Yarmouth by the Fiscal for a Rump Steak supper theft that they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security Bed and Breakfast establishment to the West Lothian underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as buskers of fortune.
