The “FREEZER”, founder of the Unleveled Headed MC’s has followed the Hip Hop scene since the age of 11. Freeze known to his friends as Rick Peavler was raised in a working class family in the Midwest.
While perusing his dream of being a Hip Hop MC, Rick was dealt some hard time. He lost his father and best friend in the same year (2004), spent a year in jail (1999), and has had to work constantly to help his family survive.
Rick started expressing his emotions on the mic in 2001-02 when he was able to setup his own shows in some poplar nap town Hip Hop clubs. In 2003 promotors approached Rick to perform at a Summer Hip Hop fest. Shows in 2004/05 followed with Rick opening for such acts as De La Soul, Heirogliphics, Large Professor, C-Rayz Walz, Non Phixion, O.C., Casual, and the MudKids |
