scratching and a shltpot full of mixing
machines for the music, but IT IS music
nonetheless.
For example, I really love 50 Cent, but
I'll be the first to admit that he
don't seem to be too proficient at playing

suspect he can't carry a tune, but that
ain't what rap is about.
It's about beats, sampling and
scratchin on the music side and how you fit
the words and what those words mean in the
vocal department. So fifty, Lloyd and even
Snoop don't HAVE to have a good singing
voice, do they?
Sarah Maclaughlin has a pretty singing voice,
but she can't rap worth a crap. Freddie
Mercury of Queen was one of the best singers
around, he played piano too, but he wasn't

long as it has as many fans as it does(which

noone listens to it, noone cares about it,
noone ever talks about it, then its dead. As
