The universe was a vast expanse of nothingness, and everything was calm. Out of that calm arose an immense explosion, and it was in the ensuing cacophony of claustrophobic celestial bodies that spawned Gai Daigoji. Gai Daigoji was everywhere, and was overwhelming for the newly formed universe. The universe knew of the great power contained in Gai Daigoji, and also knew that the infant universe was not yet ready for such an immense power.
