| As you all know Gerard Way is from the band My Chemical Romance. Gerard was born and raised in Newark,New Jersey April 9,1977. He has one brother, Mikey Way, who is the bassist in MCR. Gerard had started singing when he was in the fourth grade in his school play,Peter Pan. After a while Gerard had gotten tired of singing and was interested in art so he went to School of Visual Art in New York City. After witnessing the twin towers insident in 9/11, Gerard was inspired to do something with his life. So he started the band My Chemical Romance. The bands name was inspired by the book Ecstasy: Three tales of Chemical Romance. Gerard has then done all the art work for his band and helped with artwork for bands such as Queen and The Used. Their personal song, Helena, was dedicated to their grandmother who had passed away,Elena Lee Rush. Gerard has then lead a successful life and career and we all hope to see MCR togather for a long time. |
