The earth has been blessed with so many musical superstars since popular music began; and now at the dawn of another year we are about to witness another artist cut from the same fabric that we have enjoyed throughout the years. 2005 will mark the Genesis of music. Thats right!! music with live instruments has been slowly creeping back and this year will prove to be the year that funk ,soul, and live hip hop take there rightful place back where they belong!! Kevin A. Grace was born in Cambridge, Mass. the same year as Tupac Shakur and grew up in West Medford a town just outside Boston. It is there where he slowly became groomed for this very time in history. With influences like Stevie, Donny Hathaway, Prince, AL Green, James, and of course Micheal it is not a surprise that Gnyus would be standing where he is today......This man plays the piano, organ, bass, drums, guitar, composes, engineers, writes, produces, arranges, and performs his own material… something that has become very rare today. Occasionaly he may sample a groove like on the super sex charged "Menegetrois". Ingenious was raised and reared in church and his father is a preacher but somehow this kid managed to do what most preacher's children do......rebel!!! However all of his songs are not about sex, he writes about relationships, politics and what ever feels.Gnyus has been in the background for a minute and he has paid his dues and just came back from an Asian tour. This year will bring about one of the most incredible times in music to date.....the emergence of GNYUS.
