God Experiment was born following an industrial-gothic metal band, of which Michael was founding member guitarist and main songwriter. With the musical influences of The Sisters of Mercy, EBM heroes Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb and acts such as Neurosis, they achieved a strong 'cold' sound, which received positive critical acclaim and stood well against local punk, hardcore and metal bands. In 2000 God Experiment was established by Michael to pursue a different style of sound and has, to date, been mainly available on mp3-download sites.
