Fuming rock and tear drawing blues from the bulb-growing area; that is what the The Goodfellows stand for. five blues musicians, which have already won their spurs on several stages and have played in some other bands, have united to spread the passion for the blues and Rock"n"Roll. With great pleasure and swirling energy the guys play the blues. This is something what does not remain unnoticed by the public. Many dance hall owners have already been infected by the “virus” and gladly see "The Fellows" as welcome guests.
The play list of The Goodfellows contains an alternating mix of blues, Rythm and blues and Rock"n"Roll. Besides their own work a justified selection is made from the works of big names such as Little Walter, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Paladins wherein the “drive" of the numbers is most important. On the first album of The Goodfellows (Cruisin Lady) this mix is explicitly present. In the meantime they are already planning to make a “live” album. Although they already sound good on the record, “The Fellows” still perform best live on stage when the crowd gets ecstatic. So if you want to enjoy this cocktail of swinging Blues......
