After a long and successful ten years in Blur, guitarist Graham Coxon (a great lover of the Fender Telecaster guitar, once quoted as saying he will see any band play as long as they play Telecasters) decided to go solo full time in 2003, after having released a few solo albums while with Blur. This has been a new lease of life for him, with singles such as 'Bittersweet Bundle Of Misery', 'Spectacular', and power-punk anthem 'Freakin' Out' all hitting the top 30. Album 'Happiness In Magazines' (originally to be called 'No More Mr Lo-fi) was a critical succes, with Coxon being one of the most consistent artists of 2004. The best moment of his solo career so far was a headline slot on the Radio 1 stage at the 2004 Carling Weekend festivals. Graham is currently working on a new album.
