Slipknot is right who cares about who is and
isn't punk. In reality punk is becoming a
clique its all about conformity most kids in
my area wears studded belts, shops at Hot
Topic and hates A&F when it really owns HT,
and they only hang out with kids who claim
they are punk too. Sorry if you say you're
so punk and and rebellious your a weak poseur
falling victim to the conformist norms of
highschool. I like GD a little bit but I
don't think they are punk just really

No they aren't. The Pistols were punk
before Green Day even thought of becoming a
band. Hell, The Pistols were doing music
