| G.T. Arpe formed out of the ashes of a band called the "Poseurs", now possibly renamed "The Prosers". The "band" was started in 1997 b/c the name went with the name of an album called "Guitarpe for Beginners" made without the drummer of the Prosers. The album mainly consisted of tunes with more than one guitar being played at once. After Guitarpe for Beginners in 1997, the artist released "One Man Band" in 1998, in which more than one instrument played at once served as a motif, "Camper Van Halen" in 1999, in which tapping was the main idea, the single "Christmas Island" in 2000, the album "Drum and Drum" in 2001, in which drums were the main idea, the albums "Wrights", in which rewritten old lyrics were the main idea, and "Doused Fires #1" in 2002 and the album "Hello Fidelity" in 2006, in which religion and instruments other than guitar were motifs. An album under the moniker "N.E. Part" called "Can't Joke like you used to" was also put out in 2002. |
