The rap group Gun Hill originated from the uptown section at the intersection of Gun Hill and White Plains Road. Olinville Avenue was our hood. A some what middle class Ghetto we called home. In this hood you could find drugz, thugz, and sometimes Luv!
All type of headz ran through the hill on various missionz with no limits. Everybody had their thing and did whatever, whenever, and however. 99.9% of the block listened to Hip Hop, Reggae, and whatever their high brought.
Gun Hill is Mr. Roll'Xtracausewegonsmoke and Big Thought Rhythm Persistence AKA TRP (pronounced Trip). We rapped to anything that could be used to make a sound wit. Through-out the days coming up in New York we learned hard, but always chased that dream called Hip Hop. Today we bring a unique style that's gone make you think while you listen.
