| haftor medboe group formed to make music as beautiful as possible within the improvised genre. We're based in Scotland but all have our roots elsewhere in Scandinavia, Iceland, Poland and Australia. We've played in many venues and festivals over the past few years and particularly enjoy the bizarre locations - lighthouses, barns and sheds - although the occasional concert hall is also very nice. Our first EP and album were released on our own label and the new one is on Linn Records. The current touring line up features the brilliant Konrad Wiszniewski on tenor sax alongside the irreplaceable Signy and Chris. We hope you enjoy the music and visit us at a gig near you soon.
