| Ian Vandiver AKA Half Dead was born in San Diego California and later on moved to Las Vegas where he was raised for most of his teen years. He started rapping at the age of 12 years old with some of the neighborhood kids an also with other teens from his school. After finding his own voice in the hip hop game he started to realize if he was going to make his voice heard what was his story. Growing up in the slums of Las Vegas where living isn’t cheap he found the streets as a place to play an quickly learned the rules that came with them. Gangs, drug dealers, real life pimps an drug attics were all around him and he had to find some security so he joined a local crew known as Money Making Hustlas. A few years of that kind of life style it started to ketch up with. Noted in his lyrics he tries to reach the youth by steering them away from that type of life style while trying to speak the realities of what its about. Nine years later he has stepped his game up from rapping on the streets to doing shows an building a reputation for his self in the underground and mainstream music world. Co - starring in a low budget film, Starring Miss Laura Hayes from Queens of Comedy an J T Jackson from Living The Life, performing an acting have been just piece of what his dream is really about. Currently in the United States Army he has never stopped pursuing his dream and the Military has also supported him in his interest for music, allowing him to perform and also spreading his name around the military post, his reputation is growing daily. His work is professional and his ability to work under pressure are two of the key characteristics in his ambition to reach the top. |
