Hanson is a band that started in Tulsa, OKlahoma. Isaac, 23; Taylor 20; and Zac 18 have been on the music scene for several years. It started when they were children, being encouraged to play the piano and dance by their parents, Diane and Walker Hanson. They grew up listening to pop music from the 50's and 60's, which may explain the first few CD's they released. With Isaac playing the guitar (he is self taught by the way), Taylor on the keyboards and Zac on the drums, the brothers released their first CD, Boomerang in the early 1990's. Then came the CD, MmmBop, which contains a slower version of their biggest hit Mmmbop. After that they released "3 Car Garage" in early 1996. All three of these were released from the garage of the Hanson home. Finally gaining some recognition by a music label, the Hanson brothers went to California to professionally record a CD. This CD is their best selling and only major success in the eyes of popculture. This CD, Middle of Nowhere, contains their biggest hits "MmmBop," "I will come to you" and "Weird." The CD was released in 1996, and their success leaked into 97 and 98. The brothers were very young as their song hit the top 40, and the CD was almost complete pop music. The brothers made several appearances on Jay Leno, Conan Obrian and David Letterman, and also spent a day shopping with Cindy Crawford. They recorded a Christmas CD with covers of songs sung by bands of the 60's and 70's, like "Little Saint Nick" by the Beach Boys. The brothers were known for their long blonde hair, but they hair was cut on Isaac and Taylor with the release of their CD "This Time Around." The CD was not as successful as Middle of Nowhere, but had some memorable songs like "This time Around," and "If Only." One of the only songs released between 2000 and 2003 was a song on the "Malcolm in the Middle" soundtrack. After several years, Taylor has gotten married and has a son. In 2003 the band recorded and released a CD under their own label 3CG (3 car garage) called Underneath Acoustic. The CD must be purchased online, but is believed to be a big success in the eyes of the band.

Hanson are fine, if you love em, love em, if you don't, you should shut the fcuk up & frequent forums you do like.
JMHO ;- P | Karma_Calling | ZAC! It's THE...R...E... tsk, tsk, tsk & I'd suck Shan's ass any day & anything else he needs sucked & how unlike lil Fairie to be trolling as well *frowns* at least Jessie has company I spose ;-p | Karma_Calling | what was that song that they did (me singing in a really bad vioce) 'doo wop did dam booo wop did bam boo wop' lol! | asbo_26 | i think it was mmm bop....?and if im right ill be damned & shove my hand in the garbage disposal, for even writing that... | PAPARoach0934 | Hey guys, let's play a game. It's called "Get your disgusting belligerent bullshit out somewhere else, hopefully by taking a razorblade to your main arteries". You're all circa thirteen years old (or have the maturity of one) and don't even know your own music taste yet. If you would take a listen to the lyrics of any of their songs, even "MMMBop", you'd see they have meaning. More than you could ever write. Music critics everywhere say they have a new and mature sound that more bands should take on. Sell out Carnegie Hall in less than five minutes and then tell me they suck again. | a_lone_mirage | | | |
